Toward Jerusalem Council II
are pleased to host 4 public meetings on
Messianic Jews – Key to Christian Unity?
Guest Speaker: Benjamin Berger (Messianic Jewish Leader from Jerusalem)
Benjamin is the son of Orthodox Jews who emigrated from Europe to New York after many family members were lost at Auschwitz. He left the practice of Orthodox Judaism, but after a period of searching came to know the God of his fathers, and to recognize Yeshua as the Messiah of Israel.
Today he leads “Kehilat ha’she al Har Zion” (The Congregation of the Lamb on Mt. Zion) where Jews, Arabs and Gentile Christians worship there together in Hebrew. Benjamin has a big heart for unity in the Body of Christ and has been involved in the Roman Catholic/Messianic Jewish international dialogue for the past 6 years. He is also on the international board of TJCII.[table width =”100%” style =”” responsive =”true”] [table_head] [th_column]Dates[/th_column] [th_column]Venue[/th_column] [th_column]Contact[/th_column] [/table_head] [table_body] [table_row] [row_column]Tues 2 Dec 7.30pm[/row_column] [row_column]Renehan Hall, St Patrick’s College, Maynooth[/row_column] [row_column]Fergal on 0879954921[/row_column] [/table_row] [table_row] [row_column]Wed 3 Dec 8.00pm[/row_column] [row_column]Longford Arms Hotel[/row_column] [row_column]June on 0876142020[/row_column] [/table_row] [table_row] [row_column]Fri 5 Dec 10 – 4.00pm[/row_column] [row_column]Leaders’ Day in An Cuan (YWAM) Shore Road, Rostrevor

- Healing the ancient wounds between Jews and Christians
- Recovering an awareness of the Jewishness of Scripture
- Promoting awareness of the Jewish roots of the Church
- Affirming the growth of Messianic Jewish Congregations
TJCII was established when leaders from Christian Churches and Messianic Jewish congregations came together to work for reconciliation in the Body of Christ. These leaders had a vision for the healing of the oldest wound in the Church by restoring the unity of Jew and Gentile in the one Body of Jesus, the Messiah of Israel (Eph 2:7).[icon type=”fa fa-file-text-o” color=”#dd3333″ fontsize=”128″]
At the first Council of Jerusalem (Acts15) all obstacles to the entry of Gentiles into the Church were removed. It was God’s plan to unite Jews and Gentiles in one body (what Scripture calls the ‘One New Man’ Eph. 2:7).
